Looking for Leaders: SYC Leadership Team

Calling all current and future youth leaders! Do you want to have a more active role on our youth council? Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Are you interested in the daily runnings of the SYC? Well, this might be the opportunity for you!

The Santos Youth Council is excited to announce that applications are OPEN for our Youth Council Leadership Team! This is your opportunity to take on a leadership role, plan and lead projects, represent youth voices, and help shape the future of our community.

Co-Chair (2)

Chair SYC meetings, Create/set goals for each month, Announce and message updates and upcoming opportunities, Be the main point of communication with Team Santos

Director of Public Relations

Run SYC Instagram account (design posts, stories, reels, and replying to DMs), Work with Team Santos to get pictures/take pictures of volunteers at SYC events.

Director of Internal Affairs

Take meeting notes at SYC meetings, Organise registrations (creating google forms, linking responses to google sheets)

Director of Community Events

Be present at all events organised by SYC, Assign volunteering roles at events, Point of contact for volunteers at events (Ensure that volunteers are showing up and fulfilling assigned roles)
