City of Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown presented the proposed 2025 Budget, emphasizing affordability, infrastructure upgrades, health care, and expanded community spaces to enhance residents’ quality of life. Key investments include $300M for transit facilities, $29M for a new community centre and library, and $81.1M in health care reserves. A 2.9% property tax levy increase balances these investments with operational savings, maintaining Brampton’s affordability and growth momentum.
