International Women’s Day 2025 Music Video Released – All I Know So Far

The International Women’s Day 2025 music video from Councillor Santos and her band Point of Order has been released. Under the United Nations theme of Accelerate Action, the video covers the song “All I know so far” written by Pink who envisioned it as an advice-filled love letter to her daughter.

The lyrics of this song fit perfect for this year’s IWD theme to accelerate action through our collective wisdom. It encourages girls to be unstoppable in the face of adversity and to always remain true to oneself. To be fearless and passionate in achieving your goals. And know that you are supported along the way.

Part of accelerating action is providing opportunities for women and girls to shine. Singers from the Brampton Children’s Chorus and nieces of Councillor Santos participated. It was the first time that these talented girls ever experienced a recording studio. Having them sing the lyrics of this song with their mom’s proudly watching them through the glass window of the production room, was an incredibly moving experience.

Also participating were Councillor Navjit Brar, and other women leaders who shared advice to their younger selves. Knowing what we know now, there is so much to tell our younger selves as we still have glass ceilings to break through and barriers to overcome.

Thank you to all participants, volunteers, and generous sponsor Dr. Svitlana Blesko of Astra Medicare.

The City of Brampton officially celebrates International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8 at the Rose Theatre. Please join us for this free event which is followed by concert by award winning Canadian artist, Bif Naked.
