International Women’s Day 2025 Music Video Released – All I Know So Far

Councillor Santos and her band, Point of Order, released a music video for International Women’s Day 2025, featuring Pink’s All I Know So Far. The video highlights young singers from the Brampton Children’s Chorus and women leaders, sharing empowering messages for girls to stay true to themselves and overcome obstacles. Join the City of Brampton on March 8 at the Rose Theatre for a free IWD celebration, followed by a concert from Bif Naked.

March 26, 2024 — As International Women’s Month draws to a close, Councillor Santos, alongside her band Point of Order, delivers a musical tribute to the theme of empowerment and inclusion. Their rendition of Christina Aguilera’s anthem “Fighter” serves as a resounding call to embrace individuality and champion diversity.

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is Inspire Inclusion. We have a lot of work to do. I want more women to aspire for leadership positions and to run for elected office. I want more women at leadership tables. My recent statement during Brampton’s Committee of Council is provided. Gender-Based Violence declared an epidemic in Peel Region

The City of Brampton and Peel Region has declared gender-based violence and intimate partner violence an epidemic. In a motion brought forward by Councillor Navjit Kaur Brar and Councillor Rowena Santos at Brampton Committee of Council on June 21, council unanimously agreed that the problem is an epidemic and must be addressed with increased supports by all levels of government.
