Third Annual Brampton Summer Artist Market

A record 33 vendors and local arts organizations participated in Brampton’s Annual Summer Artist Market, including the first ever Youth Arts Market, showcasing the work of 11 young people. From handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, and book arts to original prints and paintings, the artist market offered a wonderful opportunity to support local artists and arts organizations.

City of Brampton unveils new Emancipation Day Memorial

The City of Brampton has unveiled a new memorial artwork, “Fah Who Dis? AstroBlack Joy,” in Emancipation Park to commemorate Emancipation Day, celebrated on August 1. March 26, 2024 — As International Women’s Month draws to a close, Councillor Santos, alongside her band Point of Order, delivers a musical tribute to the theme of empowerment and inclusion.
