The City of Brampton, in partnership with the Brampton Horticultural Society, welcomes gardening enthusiasts back for the 14th annual Seedy Saturday and Garden Show. This free event invites attendees of all ages and skill levels to kick off another gardening season.
“Seedy Saturday is a fantastic opportunity for residents to learn something new and expand their gardening knowledge to encourage a greener lifestyle. By connecting with experts and other gardeners, Seedy Saturday supports the community’s overall health and well-being as it’s a great physical and mental workout. I encourage everyone to attend the event to learn more about the importance of taking care of our environment and to try gardening in the upcoming months. Happy gardening!”
– Rowena Santos, Regional Councillor, Wards 1 and 5; Chair, Community Services Section, City of Brampton
Every March, residents are invited to this free event to learn from experts about sustainable gardening practices. This year’s presentations include Fusion Gardening with Sean James, Unlocking the Potential, Big Ideas for Small Gardeners with Paul Gellately, and Raised Bed Gardening with Karen Hollingshead. Additionally, residents can access gardening resources, connect with vendors, share, swap and buy seeds, enjoy the Seedy Café, and explore the Kids’ Zone.
