Brampton’s population has grown to 791,486, surpassing Mississauga and positioning it as the second-largest city in the GTHA. Despite this, the city faces chronic underfunding in essential services and misalignment in regional representation. A motion brought by Councillor Santos urges the provincial government to address these issues through equitable funding and fair representation.
