Local residents, led by Councillor Rowena Santos and supported by TRCA, gathered at Newton Park for a tree planting and BBQ aimed at restoring green spaces along the Etobicoke Creek Trail. Over 40 volunteers, including youth and the Pinoy Pickleball Group, planted native trees to combat flooding and promote sustainability.
