Rosalea Park Winter Tennis Dome Nears Completion

The Rosalea Park Winter Tennis Dome in Brampton will open in late November, featuring three tennis courts for youth and offering programs through Premier Racquet Club Brampton. The project includes a newly designed parking lot, tree planting, and pathways to enhance the park’s environment. Adults and seniors will also have access to the courts during off-peak hours, supporting year-round recreation for the community.

Brampton Launches Litter Reduction Charter to Unite Community

Brampton has launched its Litter Reduction Charter, uniting stakeholders to tackle litter through prevention and community engagement. The Charter provides a comprehensive plan to create cleaner, safer streets, aligned with the city’s environmental and safety goals.

Community comes together to restore the Etobicoke Creek

Local residents, led by Councillor Rowena Santos and supported by TRCA, gathered at Newton Park for a tree planting and BBQ aimed at restoring green spaces along the Etobicoke Creek Trail. Over 40 volunteers, including youth and the Pinoy Pickleball Group, planted native trees to combat flooding and promote sustainability.
