Peel Police Team Makes Record Seizure of Guns and Gangs in 2024

Peel Regional Police seized more than double the illegal firearms this year compared to 2023 thanks to their STEP program. This program focuses on removing guns from streets and reducing gang violence. In total, Peel police seized 205 illegal guns in 2024, with STEP seizing 53 of them.
