Project Ghost: Peel Police Take Down Organized Crime Group Behind Home Invasions

Peel Police’s Project Ghost has dismantled a violent organized crime network behind over 15 home invasions and luxury vehicle thefts across the GTA, starting with an incident in Brampton’s Ward 5. The investigation led to 197 charges against 14 individuals, including youth, and uncovered $1.8 million in stolen property. Councillor Rowena Santos praised the operation and emphasized the need for systemic, preventative approaches through the National Public Safety Summit.
