PRC Brampton Rosalea Unveils Initiatives for Brampton’s Youth and Community
PRC Brampton Rosalea is launching a series of initiatives to enhance tennis development in Brampton. These include hosting national tournaments, providing youth programs, creating local jobs, partnering with schools, and offering wheelchair tennis. The goal is to create a world-class facility that benefits the entire community.
Crime Prevention Workshop and Community Safety Townhall
Councillor Santos will be hosting a crime prevention workshop at City Hall, to help residents keep themselves, their families and their property safe. This free workshop is a shortened version of the Crime Prevention Academy offered by Peel Police and will provide participants with the basics of crime prevention, vehicle safety, home security, personal safety and fraud prevention.

Peel Police Team Makes Record Seizure of Guns and Gangs in 2024
Peel Regional Police seized more than double the illegal firearms this year compared to 2023 thanks to their STEP program. This program focuses on removing guns from streets and reducing gang violence. In total, Peel police seized 205 illegal guns in 2024, with STEP seizing 53 of them. The government is committed to supporting such initiatives to enhance public safety.
Installation of 40 Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) Cameras – December Update
Brampton is installing 40 new high-tech speed cameras to improve road safety. This expansion will make their program the largest in Canada, aiming to further reduce speeding and create safer streets.
