Quotes:
“I am honoured to be appointed as a Regional Councillor for a second term and look forward to advocating for Brampton residents at the Region of Peel Council. As Chair of Community Services, I will continue to improve the experience for residents in our parks and recreation facilities and address community safety and well being concerns including fire prevention. As the new Chair of Legislative Services, the enforcement of property standards will also be a priority. We achieved much to improve quality of life for residents over the last term and will continue this momentum over the next four years to move Brampton forward.”
– Rowena Santos, Regional Councillor, Wards 1 and 5, City of Brampton
“I am so happy that residents overwhelmingly re-elected Mayor Patrick Brown and that, as a new council, we unanimously appointed Wards 9 & 10 City Councillor Harkirat Singh as our Deputy Mayor. I also welcome our newly elected Councillors, who share a fresh and collaborative approach. Residents deserve a united council that can debate the issues vigorously and make informed decisions without the need for toxic smears and attacks as we have seen in the past.”
