The city introduces a new initiative granting free recreation memberships to all seniors, expanding upon existing offerings. With over 70 activities ranging from fitness centre memberships to dance programs, seniors aged 70 and older residing in Brampton can benefit from this program starting June 1.
Applicants must provide proof of residency and age, limited to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Brampton Coun. Rowena Santos voices support for the initiative, highlighting its role in enhancing seniors’ physical and mental well-being. The city further commemorates its milestone with events throughout the year, including a grand celebration in Chinguacousy Park and an exhibition tracing Brampton’s history. Click Here to learn more
