Brampton Launches Complimentary Recreation Memberships for Seniors

The City Council of Brampton introduces a new initiative offering free Annual Recreation Memberships to residents aged 70 and above, aiming to enhance the well-being of over 58,000 seniors. The 70+ Annual Recreation Membership provides access to a range of recreational activities, promoting physical, mental, and emotional health. Regional Councillor Rowena Santos highlights the importance of supporting seniors in leading active lives and creating an age-friendly community. The membership, effective immediately, includes free entry to summer programs starting in July 2024, expanding previous offerings to encompass Fitness Centre and Racquet Memberships, among others.
