The Integrated Downtown Plan (IDP) is a roadmap that coordinates ongoing initiatives and infrastructure projects in Downtown Brampton. It will guide future growth and strategic investment and follow principles of inclusivity, innovation, and sustainability outlined in the Brampton 2040 Vision.
The plan will help coordinate infrastructure upgrades, urban design, land use, and programming interventions to position Brampton as a pivotal economic driver, regional cultural hub, and innovation district. The plan’s focus is to improve livability and prosperity in Downtown Brampton by providing local employment opportunities, neighborhood services and programs, quality public spaces, and coordinating active capital projects.
