The City of Brampton is exploring design options to enhance wayfinding for Esker Lake Trail users on the portions from Bovaird Drive to Williams Parkway.
This project supports the City’s ongoing commitment to active transportation and aims to:
- Add wayfinding signs along the trail system to improve access to other trails and major destinations
- Identify low-stress cycling connective routes and safe routes to school
- Work with local partners to identify and enhance opportunities for local wayfinding
- Gather community input before finalizing wayfinding design decisions
- Determine ways to improve walking via engineering and safety measures
