Update on the Residential Rental Licensing Pilot Program
The City of Brampton’s Residential Rental Licensing (RRL) Pilot Program is improving rental safety with over 2,200 licences issued and 4,700 inspections completed. Focused on Wards 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7, the program ensures compliance with safety standards and by-laws for smaller rental properties. More than $83,500 in fines have been issued, and a report on the program’s progress will be presented in September 2024.
