2024 Puppy Masquerade at Duggan Park
Thank you to everyone that joined Councillor Santos for the 2nd Annual Puppy Masquerade at Duggan Park in support of Brampton Animal Services. Remember to make a donation to the Hope fund or help stock the Pet Food Pantry Program.
Tree Planting and Community BBQ: Newton Park Playground
Help restore the forest along the Etobicoke Creek. Join local neighbours and Councillor Santos at Newton Park Playground on Sunday September 29, from 10 am to 12 pm for a tree planting event and Community BBQ. Registration link included.

Local vendors and Brampton Animal Services will be present to share information about pet adoption. Don’t forget to bring a donation for the Pet Food Pantry to support animals in need!
Third Annual Brampton Summer Artist Market
A record 33 vendors and local arts organizations participated in Brampton’s Annual Summer Artist Market, including the first ever Youth Arts Market, showcasing the work of 11 young people. From handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, and book arts to original prints and paintings, the artist market offered a wonderful opportunity to support local artists and arts organizations.
Celebrating Filipino Heritage: A Weekend of Fiesta Extravaganza in Brampton
The “FIESTA EXTRAVAGANZA” at Chinguacousy Park in Brampton celebrated Filipino culture with vibrant traditions and community spirit. It showcased Filipino heritage through lively performances, diverse cuisine, and a joyful atmosphere, uniting people of all backgrounds in a cultural extravaganza that highlighted multicultural harmony and resilience.
National Youth Week Celebration
A vibrant array of events and activities tailored for youth aged 14 to 29. An introduction to the Brampton Discovery Youth Pass for the National Youth Week, a gift for youth from age 13 to 18.
Record Breaking Youth Council Turnout for Teramoto Park Clean-Up
Local youth turned out in record breaking numbers to participate in a clean-up event at Teramoto Park in Brampton. The event was organized by Brampton high school student Pradwit Thapa and drew over 350 students from across Peel Region.
