Bike The Creek Celebrates 10 Years
Bike the Creek returns on Saturday Jun 8th (2024) for it’s 10th year. Bike the Creek is a FREE event aimed at encouraging people of all ages to discover the joys of cycling. Participants are requested to bring reusable water bottles to help minimize waste.
Record Breaking Youth Council Turnout for Teramoto Park Clean-Up
Local youth turned out in record breaking numbers to participate in a clean-up event at Teramoto Park in Brampton. The event was organized by Brampton high school student Pradwit Thapa and drew over 350 students from across Peel Region.

Brampton Food Hub Collaboration on Food Insecurity
Food insecurity in Brampton and Peel Region is a growing challenge. Recent statistics for Peel Region show that 111,925 residents (8%) live in poverty in Peel. Food prices have increase by 11.4% year over year. Find our more about a new collaboration of community groups working to help.
