The City of Brampton officially opened the Rosalea Park Tennis Facility, a $6.8M investment featuring year-round courts and youth-focused programming operated in partnership with Premier Racquet Clubs. This state-of-the-art facility adds to Brampton’s growing tennis infrastructure, supporting active lifestyles and community engagement.

Peel Village Golf Course officially closed for the season

Peel Village Golf Course closes for the season on Monday, November 18, following a successful final day of play on Sunday, November 17. With nearly 37,000 rounds and over $850,000 in revenue, the course saw growth this year, marking an increase in both rounds and revenue compared to 2023.

Rosalea Park Winter Tennis Dome Nears Completion

The Rosalea Park Winter Tennis Dome in Brampton will open in late November, featuring three tennis courts for youth and offering programs through Premier Racquet Club Brampton. The project includes a newly designed parking lot, tree planting, and pathways to enhance the park’s environment. Adults and seniors will also have access to the courts during off-peak hours, supporting year-round recreation for the community.

Pickleball Court At Calvert Park Now Open

Residents in the Vodden St. E and Williams Parkway area along the Etobicoke creek trail now have access to a new pickleball court at Calvert Park. By converting this neglected space into a pickleball court, with lighting coming soon, the city is creating a safer and more vibrant environment that promotes sports, recreation, and community engagement.

Brampton Youth Tennis Courts at Rosalea Park

Construction is currently underway at Rosalea Park for the development of public tennis courts specifically for Brampton youth, in response to an increase in demand for youth tennis. The tennis courts will be domed to support ongoing use during the winter season. Construction is scheduled for completion in November of 2024.

Lit Outdoor Pickleball Court Coming to Calvert Park!

The city of Brampton is taking a proactive approach to address the changing needs and demands of its residents by updating park amenities. Following the successful transformation of a baseball diamond into a fully lit tape ball amenity, the city is now turning its attention to an underutilized lawn bowling pitch. This derelict space, which has become associated with illicit behavior, is set to be revitalized and transformed into an outdoor lit pickleball court. This exciting development aims to meet the growing demand for pickleball facilities in Brampton and provide a safe and enjoyable space for residents of all ages.
