This facility is a key feature of the upcoming Century Gardens Youth Hub set to open in 2025. The new boxed soccer provides an accessible and modern space for youth development. It is named after Atiba Hutchinson who grew up on the city and Captained Team Canada in the World Cup.
The Atiba Hutchinson Soccer Court is a fully enclosed turf field that welcomes residents of all skill levels and abilities, fostering a safe environment for learning and skill-building. This addition aims creates more outdoor spaces in Brampton, encouraging youth to stay active and lead healthy lifestyles.
Brampton is home to approximately 150,000 youth aged 14 to 29, and the city remains dedicated to creating safe and accessible spaces that support their development.
