Advance Brampton Fund: Empowering Non-Profits in Brampton
The City of Brampton values the crucial role non-profit organizations play in addressing community needs and enhancing City services. The Advance Brampton Fund provides municipal grants to eligible Brampton-based non-profits and charitable organizations for impactful project proposals in key areas:

2024/2025 Announcements
The 2024 application window for the Advance Brampton Fund has closed. Congratulations to all the 2024 grant recipients!
Grant Close Out Reports: Completed projects must submit reports within 60 days post-project end date or by December 31, 2024. For the New and Small Projects Stream, reports are due by February 11, 2025.
The 2025 Advance Brampton Fund Call for Applications will open on September 2, 2024, and close on September 30, 2024. Note the earlier opening date and shorter application period.

Brampton Non-Profit & Charitable Sector Development Learning Series
In collaboration with The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University, the Advance Brampton Fund offers a series of online seminars to support non-profit and charitable sectors in Brampton. The 2023 program features 8 seminars on topics like marketing, project evaluation, and strategic planning. Limited to 30 participants per seminar, so register early!
- Beginner Level Courses: 6 virtual sessions
- Advanced Level Seminars: 2 in-person sessions (prerequisite required)

All Streams Grant Information Session on 2024 Close Out Reporting
2024 grant recipients must submit a Close Out Report within 60 days post-project end date or by December 31, 2024. Late submissions may affect future funding eligibility. Access the recording of the Information Session and slides here.
Available Funding Streams
The 2025 Advance Brampton Fund offers three funding streams, each with a September 2, 2024, opening date and September 30, 2024, closing date. Results will be announced in January 2025. Guidelines will be available on August 5, 2024.
1. New and Small Projects
- Eligibility: Registered Charities, Incorporated Non-Profits, Unincorporated Non-Profit Groups
- Project Term: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025
- Grant Maximum: Up to $5,000 (no match requirement)
2. Developing
- Eligibility: Registered Charities, Incorporated Non-Profits
- Project Term: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025
- Grant Maximum: Up to $12,500 (matching funds required)
3. Amplifying
- Eligibility: Registered Charities, Incorporated Non-Profits
- Project Term: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025
- Grant Maximum: Up to $25,000 (matching funds required)
All Streams:
- Only one application per organization will be accepted.
- Applicants must have $2,000,000 in Commercial General Liability Insurance.
- Projects must occur within the 2025 calendar year.
- Guidelines should be consulted before application submission.
