The City of Brampton is calling on residents to nominate outstanding individuals for the 2025 Citizen Awards, recognizing excellence across sports, arts, volunteerism and community leadership. Running since 1975, the awards celebrate people whose contributions make Brampton more connected, vibrant and inclusive. Categories include Sports Achievement, Arts Acclaim, Long Term Service, Inspirational leadership, Emergency Services Valour and Citizen of the Year for youth, adults and seniors. Nominations are open until January 9, 2026, providing residents a chance to spotlight the local champions who shaped Brampton in 2025.
