In celebration of Ontario’s Non-Profit Sector Appreciation Week, the City of Brampton is reaffirming its commitment to local non-profits and charities with the return of the free Brampton Non-Profit and Charitable Sector Development Learning Series. Delivered by The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University, these seminars equip non-profit leaders with essential skills in grant writing, financial management, and organizational growth, key areas that are critical for non-profit sustainability and success.

For the first time in the program’s history, and in response to participant feedback, those who successfully complete a seminar will receive a Workshop Participation Award. This recognition will support attendees in their professional development and serve as an asset in their career progression within the non-profit sector.
The Brampton Non-Profit and Charitable Sector Development Learning Series features monthly in-person and online learning opportunities from March through November. These free sessions are interactive, engaging, and tailored to address real-world challenges faced by non-profit leaders. They are led by industry experts and designed to enhance the capacity and resilience of non-profit organizations by providing practical knowledge that can be immediately applied. All non-profit and charity professionals in Brampton are invited to attend these seminars and experience the valuable benefits they offer. By attending a seminar, participants can gain:
