The City of Brampton is set to complete construction of the Rosalea Park Winter Tennis Dome by late November, with the facility opening soon after. This new initiative includes three top-quality asphalt acrylic tennis courts within a seasonal dome, designed to keep youth active year-round. Registration for select programs is now available through Premier Racquet Club Brampton.
The dome project addresses growing demand for youth tennis, offering not just new courts but also a newly designed parking lot and the planting of over 30 trees to enhance the park’s environment. While the dome will primarily focus on youth programming, it will also offer court time for adults and seniors during off-peak hours.
Key milestones have been met, including the creation of a temporary pathway to ensure continued access to the Brampton Tennis Club during construction. Once the project is finished, the new parking lot and relocated pathways will be open for public use, and tree planting will be completed in fall 2024.
The facility, managed by Premier Racquet Clubs, will offer a range of programs such as lessons, leagues, and tournaments. For the inaugural season, no membership is required for court bookings, but pre-registration will be needed for programs. Accessible parking spaces and washrooms will also be available.
This collaboration with Premier Racquet Clubs ensures that Brampton residents have access to high-quality tennis programming. The partnership will reduce operational costs while providing a space for youth and adult tennis development, further strengthening Brampton’s commitment to recreation and community wellness.
