The City of Brampton and Brampton Fire and Emergency Services, in partnership with the Brampton Professional Firefighters Association, unveiled the Brampton Fire and Emergency Services Fallen Firefighter Memorial during a ceremony held at the Brampton Fire Headquarters and Training Centre.

About the Brampton Fire and Emergency Services Fallen Firefighter Memorial
Brampton Fire and Emergency Services Fallen Firefighter Memorial is located at the Brampton Fire Headquarters and Training Centre and serves as a permanent place of remembrance for firefighters who lost their lives as a result of illnesses related to their service.
Titled Remember, Honour and Support, the memorial was designed by acclaimed Canadian sculptor Morgan MacDonald. The bronze sculpture depicts two firefighters from different generations, with one firefighter mourning a fallen comrade while another offers support, symbolizing remembrance, solidarity and the lasting bond shared among firefighters. The memorial also features bronze pillars representing the three pillars of line of duty death services: remembering, honouring and supporting.
About The Artist
Morgan MacDonald is a Newfoundland-based sculptor known for his large-scale bronze memorials and public art installations across Canada and internationally. Working from his foundry and studio in Logy Bay, Newfoundland, MacDonald creates highly realistic sculptures using the traditional lost wax casting method.
